Thought I'd write up a guide for this because it took me some tweaking to get working, and I couldn't find this all in one place and had to figure. Users of two Aspyr Media Mac game releases now have new versions of the titles to download. Both Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri and Sim Theme Park have been patched to fix various problems with each game.

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (sometimes abbreviated to SMAC or Alpha Centauri) is a 4X turn-based strategic computer game created by Brian Reynolds and Sid Meier under the auspices of Firaxis Games in 1999.
The story entails the colonization of a planet in the Alpha Centauri star system. It picks up where Meier and Reynolds' earlier titles, Civilization I and Civilization II, left off. An expansion pack called Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire (aka SMACX or just SMAX) was also released. It has been described as 'Sim City meets Dune'.

- Added fix for black/white issues with MacOS 9.1.
- Improved timing characteristics for high-latency net games. Still not perfect, but it should be better.
- You can now choose which monitor you'd like to play on via the Options dialog. Note that this only applies when you are running the game fullscreen and not in a window.
